The Data Controller has completed GDPR New Regulation Training.
The Company operates using GPC Ghost and Phantom Cloud Platform. GPC’s Cloud platform are hosted by Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, North Europe (Primary) and West Europe (Secondary). Microsoft Azure is international Security Standard compliant (ISO27001) and International Security Standard for Protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (ISO27018).
- The Company receives and uses information provided voluntarily by third parties for the express purpose of making and managing taxi and private hire bookings.
- The Company itself does not hold or store any customer information save that referred to in 1.
- The Company does not provide to or share with third parties any customer information unless necessary to comply with legal obligations to assist and/or co-operate with the regulatory bodies.
- A business transaction arises at the point of booking and The Company is legally obliged to retain some data relevant and pursuant to the Statute of Limitations (Seven years in case of all corporate work, six months in case of Private hire work).
- The Company is legally obligated to maintain records in order to comply with the local government (Miscellaneous) Act 1976ii, S56 (2) All such data will be considered exempt from the “Right to be forgotten” as described in Article. 17 (3) (6) of GDPR iii
Customers have the right to:-
- object to or prevent processing of personal data for direct marketing.
- object to processing of personal data that is likely to cause damage or distress.
- In certain circumstances, have inaccurate personal data rectified, blocked or removed.
- make a “subject access request” for personal data under the Freedom of Information Act.
